Ingredients
Shop- 6 cups fresh blackberries
- 1 1/4 cups sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 cup all-purpose flour (for topping)
- 1 cup sugar (for topping)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
Mix blackberries, sugar, flour, and lemon juice. Pour into dish.
For topping: mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
Beat egg and stir into dry ingredients until crumbly.
Sprinkle topping over berries.
Drizzle melted butter over top.
Bake 40-45 minutes until golden and bubbly.
Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.

Frozen blackberries work great - just don't thaw them first, use them straight from the freezer to prevent mushiness.
