Ingredients
Shop the tools- 2 lbs raw peanuts in shell
- 1/2 cup salt
- 8 cups water
- 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (optional)
Instructions
Rinse peanuts thoroughly.
Place peanuts in large pot with water and salt.
Add Cajun seasoning if using.
Bring to boil, then reduce heat and simmer 4-6 hours.
Check for doneness - peanuts should be soft.
Drain and serve warm or at room temperature.
