Ingredients
Shop- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Combine sugars, cream, and butter in heavy saucepan.
Cook over medium heat, stirring, until mixture reaches 238°F (soft ball stage).
Remove from heat and stir in pecans, vanilla, and salt.
Quickly drop by spoonfuls onto prepared baking sheets.
Let cool completely until set.
Store in airtight container.

Work quickly once you start dropping the pralines - they set up fast! If the mixture gets too thick, add a splash of hot water.
