  • 1 lb smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 large head cabbage, chopped
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

In a large skillet, brown sausage over medium-high heat. Remove and set aside.

Melt butter in the same skillet. Add onion and cook 5 minutes until softened.

Add cabbage and garlic. Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Season with paprika, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.

Pour in chicken broth and return sausage to the skillet.

Cover and simmer 15-20 minutes until cabbage is tender.

Season with salt and serve hot.
