  • 3 tablespoons bacon drippings
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 prepared biscuits
