Rinse livers and pat dry. Soak in buttermilk 30 minutes.
Mix flour, salt, black pepper, cayenne, and garlic powder.
Heat 2 inches oil to 350°F in a deep skillet.
Remove livers from buttermilk, letting excess drip off.
Dredge in seasoned flour, coating well.
Fry in batches 3-4 minutes until golden and crispy.
Drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with hot sauce.
