Ingredients
Shop the tools- 1 head green cabbage, chopped
- 6 slices bacon, chopped
- 1 onion, sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Cook bacon in large skillet until crispy. Remove and set aside.
Add onion to bacon drippings and cook until softened.
Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
Add cabbage, sugar, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes.
Cook, stirring frequently, 15-20 minutes until cabbage is tender.
Stir in vinegar and cooked bacon.
Cook 2 more minutes and serve hot.
