Ingredients
Shop- 6 bone-in pork chops (1-inch thick)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 apples, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups apple cider
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon dried sage
- Salt and pepper
Instructions
Season pork chops with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in large skillet and sear chops 4 minutes per side. Remove.
Add butter, apples, and onion to skillet. Cook until softened.
Add garlic and cook 1 minute.
Sprinkle flour over apples, stir well.
Add cider, broth, and sage. Bring to simmer.
Return pork chops to skillet, cover, and simmer 15 minutes.
Serve chops with apple gravy spooned over top.
