Ingredients
Shop- 1 lb breakfast sausage
- 8 slices white bread, cubed
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups whole milk
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon paprika
Instructions
Brown sausage in a skillet, breaking into crumbles. Drain excess fat.
Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish and layer bread cubes on bottom.
Sprinkle cooked sausage over bread, then top with cheese.
Pour egg mixture evenly over the casserole.
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
In the morning, preheat oven to 350°F.
Sprinkle paprika on top and bake uncovered 45-50 minutes until set and golden.
Let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
